Back then, it was considered as unfair to attack ships with Japanese
National Flag hanging. Oh, yeah, America was attacking even civilian ships
with Japanese National Flag on. There is only one photo with Japanese
Battle Ship which fought under «Rising Sun»flag on remains as an evidence.
This game is to tell the world how America fought cowardly.

….Uh…You’re at war with a nation who had no inhibitions of attacking
before formal declarations of war were even announced, were happy to rape
and pillage the Chinese countryside for years, and on top of that would
treat anyone who surrendered as sub-human/Not deserving of life…Yeah I’m
not gonna care too much which flag they’d be flying, I’m gonna care more
about defeating my enemy.

Singaporean here — I think the Koreans are overreacting a bit here, and
that history should take precedence over political correctness. But at the
same time, let’s not forget that most of Asia (us included) went through
some pretty nasty @#$% throughout the occupation, so some people might take
offence like with the US Confederate flag — no need to throw a racist hissy
fit in response to one.

War Thunder sucks. At least having the ability to mod voices and music for

No one nation is «safe» from experimentation. America did it. Germany did

Just about any game you play that is based on World War Two and involves
Nazi Germany will most likely have a Nazi Flag. Why not for Historical
reasons have the Rising Sun flag for Japan? Seems like no one cares about
the even worse atrocities of Nazi Germany then what the Japanese did.

I heard that stupid Koreans complain about the Rising Sun Flag. Forget
about those losers! Tell them that Korea was a part of Imperial Japan at
the time! Basically, the Rising Sun Flag is still used in the JSDF in the
exactly the same design. The horrible inferior complex of the terrible anti
