My family and I cruised on the Oasis for 7 days in March 2014 to Labadee
Haiti, Falmouth Jamaica, and Conzumel Mexico and will be doing so again
this year in June. The Oasis is like a floating utopia where people from
all over the world spend their money to have a great time absent of all the
whining and pettiness that occurs daily in the real world. Some people
either dont have the money to go, so they complain about those that do, or
are just plain miserable in life so they visit youtube and social media
sites voicing pitiful critiques of things they experience from afar, not in
person. For those that have travelled as much as I have on sea, land and
air it isnt rocket science to figure out that plane trip (not first class)
from Florida to Sri Lanka which lasts about 23 hours over a couple of days
on the cheapest flight is more expensive than living on this luxury liner
for a week. For the land dwellers who dont know first hand, not only are
there enough life boats in which all are motorized and have navigational
instruments that are computerized as well the ability to be closed as if a
time capsule, Royal Caribbean is the only fleet that makes it MANDATORY
that a safety drill is done for the passengers BEFORE they set sail, where
as maritime law says a ship has up to 48 hours to do so. So if you think
this ship is to big to be safe then take your chances in the air when the
plane is crashing, a floatation device and oxygen mask wont help when you
are crashing to earth faster than a bullet. Those who cant do or havent
seem to have the most idiotic opinions about those of us who have and will
again and again. Carry on haters lol.+

They are going to make those things so big that if they get into trouble at
sea that there is nothing engineered that big could possibly
facilitate a rescue of everyone on board speedily. But I have to say that
ship is so big its not even a mode of transport. In itself it is a
destination.

you people are such losers. cruise ships are awesome. pretty much
everything you want and need on a ship. bars, clubs, casinos, shows, pools,
lounges, buffets, all the good things in life included in one package. plus
you’re going to a destination. and im not just saying this because i have
RCL shares. i just fucking love cruises and they are the best investments
because cruises are always on demand doesn’t matter what time of year or
what the economy is.

I’m waiting for the launching of a 10,000 passenger cruise ship because I
like to feel like I’m in a prison. Yes, you get food and lodging. There is
probably a brig. Might there be a «Mutiny» night? Ridiculous, huh? These
ships are not measured by tonnage but, instead, by acreage.
