I think the Germans and japs will be to over powered

True the Japanese did have the biggest guns. However the Mk7 16in guns of
the Iowa’s and later planned Montana class would have had the same or
better penetrating power. They were also more accurate. The Iowa’s were
built as fast battleships to escort the fleet carriers. Less armor more
speed more AAA. The Montana’s on the other had would have been true
battleships and most likely a match for anything ever build.

The Mk7 16in did not have the same penetrating power as the Yamato’s 18
inch. At certain distances it got close but never matched or bettered it.
At closer ranges the 18 inch gets deadlier and it also makes a bigger bang
with it’s larger TNT charge. Look it up on the navweapons website. The
allied ships were more accurate, particularly in the later half of the war
because of their superior radar and fire control systems.

cruisers (including 4 modern Kirov-class heavy cruisers), 59
destroyer-leaders and squadron-destroyers (including 46 modern Type 7 and
Type 7U destroyers), 218 submarines, 269 torpedo boats, 22 patrol vessels,

НАПАДЕНИЮ, а не к обороне. Поэтому его флот был не особо способен
обороняться. СССР готовил чистых аттакеров. Плюс внезапным ударом флот
ослаблен был сильно.
